The Firm secures dismissal "with prejudice" against credit card debt buyer, Cach, LLC

This morning, Justice Greco of Queens Civil Court, dismissed a $6,000 lawsuit against my client after the plaintiff's process server failed to appear at a traverse hearing (a hearing to determine jurisdiction) for the second time. Clearly frustrated by this ongoing problem of bad service, Justice Greco boldly dismissed the case "with prejudice," which means that the plaintiff can never sue my client again for the same debt.

This is not the first time we've caused the dismissal of a credit card lawsuit brought by Cach, LLC, a Colorado based debt buyer. The law firm representing Cach, LLC was Malen & Associates, PC.
